The Greater Erie County Red Cross website was created for a group project in my Website Development and Administration class to be presented to the CEO of the organization for possible selection.

The entire site was created with XHTML and CSS to provide the client with easy maintainability and visitors with the best possible accessibility.

The design is purposefully simple, as the information that the website provides its visitors with is the most important aspect of the website. The main navigation was put at the top of the page with sub navigation put on the left of the content. This was done in order to achieve a sense or organization for each page.

UPDATE: It seems that the Greater Erie Red Cross has decided to use the design almost a year after its creation. Problem is, they've (or whoever implemented it) completely butchered it and have tried to extend it in ways it wasn't designed for.
